// about us

Why we exist

Most of the web isn't built by webmasters. It's a bakery's booking page, a school's newsletter archive, a nonprofit run by volunteers, a maintainer's docs site. Nobody there has time to chase Core Web Vitals, fix broken links or write structured data — and an agency costs more than the site.

So those sites quietly get slower, harder to find and harder to use. That's about to change. AI agents can now do the webmaster's job — read every page, find the root cause, write the fix, check it worked — and we're building the agent that does it for everyone, starting with the people who could never afford one.

Our mission: within 24 months, every small business, nonprofit, school and open-source project can have a full-time AI webmaster. The first step is the Free Website Health Agent, open source at launch, with a year-one goal of 10,000 community sites audited free. The paid Autonomous Webmaster Agent for teams follows, and pays for it.

How we work

We're an AI-agent-first company. We run our own work the way we want our users' sites to run: Claude agents do the repetitive, high-volume parts, and a person approves anything that leaves the building. A small team with agents can do the work of a much larger one — that's how we plan to serve 10,000 sites without an army.

  • Haiku 5.5 + Sonnet 5.5

    We audit our own site first

    webmastertools.co is the first site the health-agent pipeline runs on. Every new stage runs on our own site before it runs on anyone else's.

  • Sonnet 5.5

    Agent review on every pull request

    A Claude agent reviews each change to our codebase for bugs, security and performance before a human merges it.

  • Haiku 5.5 + Sonnet 5.5

    Inbox triage and draft replies

    Haiku sorts early-access requests and support email; Sonnet drafts answers. A person reads and sends every reply.

  • Sonnet 5.5

    Changelog and weekly notes

    An agent turns merged work into release notes and a weekly progress update — the same report format our paid agent will send to teams.
